The Multi-Maniac Round

Rules:

This round targets especially to newbies/beginners and maybe also to our evolver fraction. It's a multi-warrior round (all entries will load into the core for each round) with a very limited warrior-size (max. 8 instructions) and just a single process (the spl instruction is disallowed). I guess it will be a very close round ;-)

pmars -r 2000 -l 8 -d 8 entry1.red entry2.red entry3.red ......

As usual, you can enter either one or two warriors.

Results:

A total of 20 authors and 32 warriors take part in the Multi-Maniac round. Although each author can enter two warriors as usual.

The first place goes to Simon Duff with its 1-line imp-gate assisted by his second entry, an imp-bombing stone (without an imp-gate ;-). The second and third place goes to Joshua and Michal Janeczek, both using a core-clear. Congratulation to the impressive debut of the two newcomers Simon and Joshua.

To summarize the stategies used, there are 7 stones, 6 core-clears, 5 vampires, 4 evolved warriors, 3 scanner, and 1 imp-gate, CLP, oneshot, imp, dodger, anti-vampire and hopper each.

The special price for the best newcomer goes to Simon Duff for his 1st place.

The special price for the best evolved warrior goes to Will Varfar for his 8th place.
