SAL's Nano Hill

The Nano Hill is located on the SAL Server. On June 11, 2004 it opened its gate for business. The specification for the hill are:
Hill key: nano
Core size: 80
Max processes: 80
Max cycles: 800
Max length: 5
instruction set: extended ICWS '94 Draft
P-space size: 5
The online Corewar community wondered if an 80 cell core with warriors of just 5 instructions had anything of interest to offer. But the small core size makes a perfect playground for both, evolved and hand-coded warriors. An exciting challenge broke out and has lasted until now. Over the time the diversity of strategies significantly increased. After a first domination of evolved warriors for almost 10 month the hand-coded warriors gain a foothold and were until that time often seen as king of the nano hill.

It is actually one of the most frequently played hills, also because it isn't too hard to enter for beginners as well.

Level of Hill: MEDIUM
