The Corewar DynaHill

The DynaHill standings     result.txt

You find a useful discussion about the hill also on r.g.c., just click here.

All warrior submissions are to be mailed to dynahill@corewar.info. As explained in the FAQ, a ;redcode-94 or ;redcode-lp line must be placed at the top of your warrior's code in order to specify under which rules the warrior will fight on the DynaHill. Don't forget to add also a ;name and an ;author line. The warrior's code must then be copy/pasted into the ordinary text of the email.

Although the hill itself runs fully automated, it didn't contain neither an automated e-mail interface nor the website will be updated automatically (as it is beyond my programming skills). This means that actually you won't get any reply to your submissions. So, please choose you submissions careful ;-)

One of the ideas of the DynaHill is that it runs continuously on certain times even if no submission were received after the last hill run. This means that the hill isn't immediately udated after you sent your entry.

As the DynaHill is virtually unlimited the warriors (88, 94nop, 94draft and lp) from beginners, evolvers and pro's will coexist on a single hill.

The hill settings are:
Core Size -s 8000
Cycles To Completion -c 80000
Max Processes -p (see FAQ)
Max Warrior Length -l 200
Min Distance -d 200
Enjoy playing!!!

The infinite DynaHills

Beside the DynaHill I started to create infinite DynaHills. As first I started to fill the hill with the warriors from Koenigstuhl starting with the lower scoring warriors. The highest scoring warriors enters last. Then I added further published warriors suitable under the given DynaHill settings from other sources, like from the past sorceforge hills, tournament rounds, etc. The DynaHills uses the same settings than the SAL and Koth hills. Just the scoring system differs.

Everybody who would like to enter these hills should publish his warrior either on rec.games.corewar or Christoph C. Birk's Koenigstuhl
